New Tabuk Police Station to rise soon

Updated: Jul 3, 2021

Tabuk City, Kalinga - A new police station building for the Philippine National Police (PNP) will soon rise and serve thousands of people in the city of Tabuk.

This is following the approval of the members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod during their regular session on July 01 about the proposed deed of donation to be entered between the city government of Tabuk and Philippine National Police (PNP) - Tabuk City.

The 1,000 sq.m. portion of land located at Barangay Laya is the proposed construction of a new PNP building.

Based on the deed of donation of registered land, the grant of proposed lot donation conveys consideration of the city government on the programs and administration of the PNP to sustain the peace and order situation of the city.

Currently, the city's police station is located at Quezon St., Dagupan Centro, near the City hall.

On the other hand, newly installed Tabuk City Chief of Police (COP), Police Lieutenant Colonel Dinulong Tombali assumed office on June 14, replacing PLtCol Radino Belly. He assured that the door of the police is open for everybody and won’t be favoring particular groups.

Thus, he will not deviate from the Chief PNP, Police General Lorenzo Eleazar’s intensified cleanliness policy that focuses on cleanliness in the office, in the rank, and in the community.

Tabuk is a component city in the landlocked province of Kalinga that serves as the provincial capital.
