Newly elected public officials in Tanudan took oath of office

Tanudan, Kalinga – The new set of elected leaders serving Tanudan in the next three years took their oath of office in Sitio Banagao, Poblacion on June 20, 2022.


The oath taking ceremony was administered by Judge Nympha Abbacan.


The new set of officials will be led by re-elected Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag with newly elected Vice Mayor Santos Dalayap.


The councilors are Zalin Ludan-Laurentino, Clayton Ballay, Denver Tumbali, Helen Gacadan, Brenstan Dulagan, Solomon Dumalleg, Elizalde Dalunag, and Santos Domalleg.


In his statement, Mayor Dagadag conveyed the importance of a harmonious working relationship among the officials, “nu agkaalaan iti legislative ken executive ket ad-adu latta iti development iti ili. Kitam dagita daduma nga ili nga haan nga agkinaalaan ket adda latta iti manglaplapped iti pagpintasan wennu pagmayatan iti ili.”

Dagadag also told his fellow leaders to correct him when there are matters they think could be done better.


“Amin nga pagsayaatan ket suportaran yu kuma, nu adda man iti madi nga makita yu, ket mabalin yu met nga ibaga kanyak ta mabalin tayo pagtutungtungan,” he said, reminding them not to disappoint the constituents of Tanudan who have trusted them.


The mayor is optimistic that the new set of leaders will do more in the next three years since Covid-19 is now manageable and less of a threat.


After the officials have sworn in, Dagadag administered the oath of office of 17 newly promoted appointed employees of the Local Government Unit of Tanudan on the same date.
