‘No Movement on Sunday in the city’ - Tabuk City Mayor Estrañero

Tabuk City, Kalinga―‘No Movement Sunday’ is imposed during the duration of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) to give way for the disinfection of establishments which were allowed to open in the city, said Mayor Darwin Estrañero.

The said advisory was announced through his ‘Magandang Tanghali Mayor’ program on a radio station.

Mayor Darwin Estrañero said that the no movement on two Sundays of the 14-day ECQ in the city was instructed to the Punong Barangays and for them to disseminate to their respective barangays.

“Isu metlang dayta ti naipameeting kadagiti naduma duma nga kapitan tayo nga isu ti ammok nga iwaragawag da metlang idiay respective nga barangays da nga on Sundays, we have two Sundays ah, siguro, ta duwa met nga Domingo daytoy ket isu iti time nga panagdisinfect dagiti public establishments nga naitulok nga aglukat kadagiti tiempo iti ECQ so useless metlang nga rumwar da nu awan metlang dagiti papanan da,” he said.

“So everybody is encourage nga haan nga mabalin nga rumwar kuman iti Sunday so that was our instruction to the different 43 barangays, barangay captains who attended the meeting so kadagiyay haan nga nakaumay nabagaan da metlang nga iti Sunday ket close tayo kasla metlang diay napalabas nga ECQ so dagiyay iti naibilin kadagiti barangay captains tayo,” he added.

Meanwhile, Estrañero emphasized that special pass shall only be given by the barangay and shall only be permitted by the checkpoints for emergency reasons.

“Umuna awan nga talaga, haan nga mabalin anya ta isu met iti naibilin ken dagitoy man religious gatherings ket online amin tatta even dagiti big churches tayo they started already nga nag officiate ti mass through online ket maiparit nga talaga diyay ti instruction ket isu, adda kadagitoy barangay captains nga mangibaga kadagiti kakailyan da ta adda met ti passes da nga naaramid da dagita,” he said.

“So unless for some emergency reasons nga mabalin nga itulok da isu diyay apo ti pangalaan da ti pammalubos kadagitoy barbarangay nga pagnanaidan da tapno nu kasta ket nu lumabas da iti checkpoint ket adda ti kuna tayo nga special wenno special pass nga ited da on Sunday diyay ti kasla napagnunumwan,” he further said.

Tabuk City was placed under ECQ due to uncontrolled rise in CoViD-19 cases in the city and overwhelmed health facilities which started on January 25 and will end on February 8, 2021.
