Nutrition scholar from Baguio is 2nd Most Outstanding BNS in PH


Baguio City, Philippines – Her dedication to serving the community has earned a Barangay Nutrition Scholar (BNS) in Baguio City a national citation.

 

Joemy Duldulao, a BNS at Middle Quezon Hill, was awarded first runner-up in the Search for Outstanding BNS in the Philippines during the 2023 National Nutrition Awarding Ceremony on February 12, 2024, at the Manila Hotel.


The outstanding award for BNS is a citation conferred by the National Nutrition Council (NNC) that recognizes and celebrates the dedication and success of Local Government Units, Local Nutrition Focal Points, and Barangay Nutrition Scholars who have demonstrated effectiveness and efficiency in implementing vital nutrition programs within their communities.

 

Duldulao was chosen as one among the honorees after a thorough evaluation of her effective performance in managing nutrition programs.

 

This Cordilleran awardee’s journey began with her remarkable achievement as the 2022 Outstanding BNS at the city level. This allowed her to represent Baguio City in the regional search, where she emerged as the most outstanding among the nominees, making her the region’s representative in the national level.

 

Duldulao, after receiving her award, expressed her honor in representing Cordillera in the national search, thanking the government for their support and attributing her success to her children, who make her strong and dedicated every day.
