Oslo-based singer from Conner, Apayao released debut song ‘Walls’

Conner, Apayao – Are you ready to fall again?

When Leonardo ‘LJ’ Amorsolo Jr. said ‘new opportunities’ are coming his way and that the ‘real work’ has begun after ending his stint at The Voice Norway at the top 16, he was definitely not kidding.

LJ who was raised in Malama, Conner but is now residing in Oslo, Norway was a three-chair turner during the blind audition of the 8th Season of The Voice Norway. He was able to advance to the live shows where he wrapped up his journey on the singing reality competition television show at the top 16.

Now as he continues pursuing his passion for singing, LJ released his debut single that reminds people that in time, the ‘Walls’ they build in their hearts will be crushed by the right person and they will say they’re ‘ready to fall again’.

What is Walls all about?

“Walls is such a heartfelt song wherein you can relate easily. It uplifts the spirit of those people who are hopeful in love that no matter how unbreakable the “Walls” we built around us, a time will come when they can say “I’m ready to fall again,” LJ relayed to GURU Press Cordillera.

LJ further shared the song immediately caught his attention when a producer sent him a demo of the piece as he, himself, could relate to the message of the song about being hopeful in love.

“Walls is quite dear to me since I wasn’t prepared for anything when I met my husband (then boyfriend) here in Oslo and suddenly it just felt right all along and that’s the time when I realized I was actually ready to fall again,” he narrated.

When asked if he is working on another song, LJ revealed he actually recently recorded a Christmas song cover which will be released soon.

“I just recently recorded a really sad Christmas song cover but still a pinch of hope in it. Other than that, I recorded something really nice as well and it will be more uplifting than ever,” he conveyed.
