On December 27, the Municipal LGU headed by Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag, held a Christmas Program solely for senior citizens in the municipality at the Open Gymnasium in Banagao, Poblacion.

Tanudan Designate Information Officer and Executive Secretary to Mayor Dagadag, John Ryan Awingan, said that the event was a first in town and it was initiated by the LGU to gather the elderlies and provide time for them to be together as well as recognize their works.

“First time in history nga mapalanusan or nag-apugid nga sabaysabay dagiti senior citizen idiay Tanudan,” Awingan said.

The event which was attended by more than a hundred senior citizens from the different barangays was filled with fun and games. Awingan also mentioned that the elderlies received cash gifts from Mayor Dagadag and his wife who used their own personal resources for the matter.
