OVP's 'Magnegosyo Ta Day' program benefits 4 entrepreneurs in Santa Marcela

Santa Marcela, Apayao – The Office of the Vice President (OVP), on October 3, through its "Mag Negosyo Ta Day" program, awarded financial assistance to four budding entrepreneurs in Santa Marcela who went through the Basic Business Management Training last July 9, 2024.

The awarding was done in collaboration with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Santa Marcela, where the OVP facilitated the selection and training of the applicants. It is hope that with the aid the beneficiaries will be able to establish or expand their businesses as part of the government’s commitment to fostering local entrepreneurship.

Said event took place at the OVP Cagayan Valley Satellite Office, led by Officer-in-Charge Ms. Wilhelmina Cureg-Quilang, where the four successful beneficiaries from Santa Marcela received their cheques.

The assistance is expected to significantly support the beneficiaries in launching or strengthening their business ventures, which later contribute to local economic growth.

Designated LEDIPO Ms. Elizabeth Palacay, accompanied the beneficiaries.

The "Mag Negosyo Ta Day" program is one of the ways the OVP continues to promote economic empowerment by offering skills training and financial assistance to qualified individuals, paving the way for sustainable growth in the communities it serves.
