Improvement of P152M Banneng-Darulog-Bawac FMR in Kalinga begins this April 2022

Tanudan, Kalinga – The ceremonial groundbreaking of the Improvement of Banneng – Darulog – Bawac Farm-to-Market Road is scheduled this Friday, April 22, 2022 at Sitio Darulog, Dupligan, Tanudan, Kalinga, signaling the start of construction works.


This is after Department of Agriculture Secretary William D. Dar and DA - Cordillera Regional Executive Director Cameron P. Odsey turned over the second No Objection Letter (NOL 2) to Governor Ferdinand Tubban and Provincial Agriculturist, Engr. Domingo Bakilan.

The 6.168-kilometer sub-project, with an estimated cost of P152,385,000 is under DA-Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP).


Engr. Danilo Daguio, the focal person of PRDP - Regional Project Coordination Office, along with PRDP Luzon Cluster A Project Director Crispulo Bautista, Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang, Governor Ferdinand Tubban, and other provincial and local officials is expected to attend the event.

Implementation of the sub-project will follow after the groundbreaking ceremony.


A total of 479 households will benefit from the sub-project. The improvement of the FMR would boost coffee, banana, and rice production in the municipality and some parts of Tabuk City.
