Luna, Apayao - School personnel in Pudtol and Flora in Apayao will now have additional offices and workspaces following the recent inauguration of newly constructed administrative buildings in the two municipalities.
Apayao Congresswoman Eleanor Bulut-Begtang led the inauguration ceremony for the said facilities on December 30, 2023.
In a press release, the Apayao Congressional Office stated that each building was funded with P10 million from the national government in 2023.
In her message, Begtang expressed her appreciation to the parents, teachers, and communities for their full support and cooperation during the construction of the buildings.
She also underscored the role of Governor Elias Bulut Jr. in completing the projects, which he initiated during his tenure as congressman of Apayao.
Likewise, the congresswoman assured that her office, in collaboration with provincial leaders, will continue working to bring more progress and development to the province.
For their part, Public Schools District Supervisors Wilfreda Camiao and Shirley Adsay of Pudtol and Flora, respectively, thanked the congresswoman for providing them with new buildings. They emphasized that the buildings have significantly addressed their problem of using classrooms as offices.
