From the total amount, KALAHI-CIDSS Grant Community allotted P5,786,400.00 of the total cost of the construction, while the Municipal LGU of Pasil shouldered P61, 250.00 as counterpart.

Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Assistant Secretary Rea Peñaflor and DSWD-CAR Director Arnel Garcia turned over the facility to Pasil LGU under the leadership of Mayor Alfredo Malannag Jr.

Peñaflor, in her message, commended the LGU for their support as manifested in the allocation of their counterpart, while she lauded the concerted efforts of the community in building the isolation facility located at Guina-ang, Pasil.

The construction started on November 23, 2020, and was completed on December 31, 2020.

Each of the 10 bedrooms is equipped with a comfort room, electric fan, television, and durabox.

Mayor Malannag relates that the program empowered the volunteers in the community, turning them to be assets of the locality, assuring that he will continue to support community-driven development with enhanced participation, transparency, and accountability.

The mayor has so far reached five cycles of KALAHI-CIDSS implementation under his administration.

The Isolation Facility was implemented under KALAHI-CIDSS, a poverty alleviation program of the National Government implemented by DSWD.
