P83M PNP prototype building erected in Tabuk City

Tabuk City, Kalinga – A prototype of the P83 million worth Philippine National Police building is found in Tabuk City.


The 4-storey structure whose construction cost was P83,274,504.33 lies at a 2,000-square-meter land in Barangay Laya West. It consists of offices, a conference room, a multi-purpose hall, and custodial facilities.

On April 18, local leaders and various officials including the Chief PNP, Police General Rodolfo Azurin Jr. graced the inauguration of the newly constructed structure.


According to Kalinga Police Provincial Office, the highlights of the event include the signing of the deed of donation and the turnover and blessing of the building.


PGen. Azurin was quoted challenging the police authorities and the yKalingas to keep the peace and order in Tabuk City where developments are continuously coming. He likewise hoped that no one will get detained at the new custodial facility.


“Sapay kuma ta awan maibalbalud dita,” he conveyed.


The construction of the building started on November 15, 2022 and was finished on March 15, 2023.
