Pasil gets free Patient Transport Vehicle from PCSO

Pasil, Kalinga – The Municipal Mayor of Pasil, Alfredo ‘Chao-ig’ Malannag Jr., took to social media his appreciation to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) for granting their request for one unit Patient Transport Vehicle (PTV).

The agency, on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, handed over the brandnew transport to Municipal Health Officer Dr. Aldrin Siwao and to other LGUs in the province, such as Tanudan and Tinglayan.

Malannag, in his post, stated that the equipped PTV would expedite the transport and treatment of patients seeking medical assistance, and would help in saving the lives of yPasil, which the mayor values the most.

He further thanked the Rural Health Unit and Sangguniang Bayan of Pasil that played key roles in making the grant possible and for Dr. Siwao and company for bringing the vehicle to the municipality.

Municipal Health Office posted that the staff of RHU crafted the project proposal, which was later filed as a resolution by the SB.

Realizing the significance of the transport, Malannag forwarded to the PCSO a letter request which was eventually granted under the agency’s patient transport donation program.

“Agyaman tayo ti PCSO kasta met ti Pasil RHU ken SB tayo a nangtaripatu ti proposal tayo. Salamat ken ni Doc. Siwao ken Mr. Joel for their help in bringing the transport home. Ituloy tayo nga agtitinnulong tapno diretso ti progreso ditoy munisipalidad tayo,” said the mayor.
