Pasil LGU honors 8 retirees, promotes 11 employees





Pasil, Kalinga – The municipal government of Pasil led by Mayor Alfredo “Chao-ig” Malannag Jr. hailed and gave recognition to the eight retirees for their invaluable contribution to the overall development of the locality.


Plaques of recognition and appreciation were given to the eight retirees who served the local government for over one to three decades during the Pasasalamat - Pamamaalam Program held at the Municipal Covered Court, Amdalao, Guina-ang on Wednesday last week, Dec. 21, 2022.

Retirees


As released by the Human Resource Management Office, the retirees are as follows:


Ermelinda Dalusen Dunol who served as a Civil Registry Assistant II under Local Governance and Development for 32 years and 6 months from May 01, 1990 to November 30, 2022;


Vicente Alunday Bucalen Jr., the Municipal Government Department Head 1 (Municipal Planning and Development and Coordinator) who served for 30 years and 2 months from September 01, 1992 to December 31, 2022;


Joan Lucio Bongabong who first served as Clerk (Casual) of Local Governance and Development for 5 years and 6 months from June 16, 1982 to December 31, 1987 and as Administrative Officer 1 (Records Officer I) for 24 years and 11 months from January 01, 1998 to November 30, 2022;

Rosalinda Cutaran Lemon, the Assessment Clerk I of Local Governance and Development for 3 years and 1 month from June 1, 1993 to July 4, 1996 and stepped up as Administrative Aide IV (Clerk 11) for 26 years and 1 month from July 5, 1996 to June 30, 2022;


Samuel Lambayong Massagan who served as Revenue Tax Collector II for 5 years from May 20, 1994 to May 31, 1999 and as Disbursing Officer 1 for 23 years and 5 months from June 01, 1999 to October 31, 2022;


Eddie Cayag Baliwag who worked as Revenue Clerk (Casual) for 3 months from February 22, 1993 to May 22, 1993 then as Accounting Clerk (Casual) for 4 years and 11 months from September 01, 1995 to August 14, 2000 and as Revenue Collection Clerk II for 22 years and 2 months from August 15, 2000 to October 31, 2022;


Estemson Jose Jacob Barcellano, the Municipal Government Department Head 1 (Municipal Treasurer) for 21 years and 8 months from October 12, 1999 to June 30, 2022; and

Martin Bayowan Bagyon who served as Municipal Accountant (Temporary) for 3 years and 2 months from March 03, 1993 to May 02, 1996, as Accounting Clerk 1 for 10 months from June 01, 1999 to April 11, 2000, as Municipal Accountant (Temporary) for 2 years 1 month from April 12, 2000 to May 1, 2002, as Administrative Aide III for 13 years and 1 month from June 01, 2009 to July 31, 2022.


The retirees whose excellence in public service were celebrated shared a glimpse of their experiences, lessons, and best practices during their stay in the municipal government.


Mayor Malannag, in his inspirational talk, commended and extended gratitude to the retirees for their loyalty. At the same time, he posed challenge to the employees including the newly promoted ones to renew their commitment and be inspired of their service.


Promoted Employees


Eleven newly-appointed and promoted employees were presented, as part of the afternoon event of the same day.


Among said employees are Jasmin R. Massagan (LDRRM Officer 1/Statistician 1), Grail Agabas (Supply Officer II) of the Municipal Treasury Office, Judy Anne Malaggay (HRMO II) of the Mayor’s Office, Edna Marie R. Palugao (Midwife 2) of MHSO, Roger Polard M. Tabbang (Administrative Aid III) of Sangguniang Bayan Office, and Mirafe O. Ma-il (Administrative Aide II) of the Municipal Budget Office.

Also appointed and promoted are Marvie Belle T. Donglayan (Livestock Inspector 11) of MASO, Pancy Lynette D. Iddoba (Labor and Employment Officer III), Rizalyn Dangiw (Tourism Operations Officer 11), Michelle Nyra B. Lumiwan (Admin. Officer I), and Shainalyn C. Walding (LDRRM Assistant).


Subsequently, the LGU celebrated its Christmas Party with fun parlor games, acrostic, native, and other dances.
