Pasil Mayor elected Assistant Treasurer of the National Mayors’ League

Pasil, Kalinga – Pasil Mayor Alfredo “Chao-ig” Malannag Jr. announced on Wednesday, October 05, his official membership to the National Executive Committee, after he was elected by the Presidents of the Mayors’ League Chapters as the league’s National Assistant Treasurer.

On August 31, Malannag was re-elected as the President of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) - Kalinga Chapter for 2022-2025.

He took his oath of office as National Assistant Treasurer of said league at the Ceremonial Hall of Malacañang Palace on September 30.

With his new position in the Executive Committee, he is expected to carry on bigger roles in the national agenda, anchored with the programs of the incumbent administration.

Malannag expressed he is prepared to take on the position as he “remains steadfast in the pursuit of our development goals.”
