Pasil Mayor Malannag Jr. re-elected as President of League of Municipalities Kalinga Chapter

Pasil, Kalinga – The Municipal Mayor of Pasil, Kalinga, Alfredo “Chao-ig” Malannag Jr. will again be leading the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) -Kalinga Chapter for 2022-2025, after having been reelected as the league President.

The LMP was organized to assist the national government in the formulation and implementation of the policies, programs, and projects affecting municipalities as a whole.

Also, LMP serves as an avenue for expressing ideas for the promotion of the welfare of the municipalities.

As witnessed by LMP Executive Director Andrea Loriaga, Local Government Operations Officers Thyrza Shoey L. Dogui-is, and Engelbert Jack B. Gamatero, the election was held on Wednesday, August 31, at 3rd Floor Enterprise Building, Capitol Hills, Bulanao, Tabuk City.

Malannag, in his social media post, committed to continuing and strengthening the development he started during his term from 2019 to 2022 and pushing more efforts for the welfare of the municipalities in the province.

Other elected officials of the provincial league were Mayor Almar P. Malannag as Secretary; Mayor Jaedick Rhoss P. Dagadag as Treasurer; Mayor Karl Bugao P. Baac as Auditor; Mayor Joel B. Tagaotao as Public Relations Officer; and Mayor Sacrament S. Gumilab and Mayor Irving B. Dasayon as Directors.

The officials took their oaths of office before the Governor after said election.
