Pharmacist lost P90K cash in Bulanao, Tabuk City after leaving bag inside his vehicle

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Thieves can be anywhere, and Tabuk is one of the places you cannot just leave your belongings unsecured and expect to still be there when you come back.

On Friday, September 6, a 31-year-old pharmacist in Bulanao parked his elf in front of a vulcanizing shop along De Jesus Street in Purok 3, Bulanao Norte around 11:50 a.m. He got out of the vehicle and left his sling bag inside.

Little did he know, a thief seized the opportunity and stole his bag while he was gone.

When the 31-year-old returned, his sling bag containing 3 Landbank ATM cards, a BPI card, driver’s license, IDs, and at least P90,000 cash was already missing.

At around 2:25 p.m., the victim appeared before the Tabuk City Police Station to report the incident which prompted the police investigators to check CCTV in the area where the victim parked his vehicle.

Authorities found out through footage they were able to extract that the suspect was a male wearing a blue jacket, a blue cap, and short pants. The suspect took the bag and ran towards Bulanao Public Market.

The police are still looking for the suspect.
