Ableg-Molayong-Amdalao road in Pasil begins Phase 2 with P100M funding

Pasil, Kalinga – As promised earlier by the solon to the local council of Pasil in Kalinga, the Ableg – Molayong – Amdalao Road was funded with P100 million for the implementation of its second phase this year.

To recall, the financing of the road project was among those lobbied by the members of Sangguniang Bayan during their dinner meeting with Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang in September last year.

Back then, Councilors Nick Bommogas, Jhomel Gayagay, Ronaldo Gumabay, Peter Andomang, Billy Linggayo Jr., Guillermo Tao-il, Eugene Batalao Sr., Christopher Canao, and Sangguniang Kabataan Federation Beejay Bongabong received positive response from Mangaoang who assured that most of their proposed projects will be implemented by 2023.

True enough, Ableg – Molayong – Amdalao Road connecting to Pasil town hall is among the big ticket projects announced by the Upper Kalinga District Engineering Office for this year.

For the road’s second phase, it involves opening and concreting of the remaining section, up to the proposed bridge.

Once completed, travel time from Ableg Bridge to Amdalao will be shortened by 20 minutes, as informed by Councilor Batalao in previous interview.

More improvements are expected in the locality with the officials, heads, employees and community members working hand in hand as they continue embracing development projects.

Meanwhile, DPWH-Upper Kalinga district will also implement the P114 million Balantoy-Dao-angan-Poswoy-Ababaan road; P70 million replacement of Makilo bridge in Bugnay, Tinglayan; P55 million Phase 1 of Aciga-Tawang-Buaya (Mabaca section) national road.
