PhilHealth Business Center - Apayao conferred "Konsulta Champ” award for 100% rating

Luna, Apayao – The PhilHealth Business Center in Apayao was awarded the "Konsulta Champ” Star Award for Team of the Year for being the first health unit to achieve a 100% rating.

This prestigious award recognizes PBC – Apayao’s efforts in ensuring comprehensive healthcare services within their territory.

According to the Apayao Provincial Public Information Office, the agency garnered a 100% rating as a “PhilHealth Konsulta Provider.”

A PhilHealth Konsulta Provider is a health unit which aims to make healthcare services more affordable and more accessible to all Filipinos by giving a range of free services to Philhealth members.

These include free check-ups, laboratory services, medicines, diagnostic testing, consultations, screening, and health assessments, among others.

As of March 31 this year, PhilHealth listed about 65 accredited Konsulta Providers in Cordillera. These are the various rural health units and health facilities in the six provinces in the region.

PhilHealth provides payments to these registered Konsulta providers based on the number of their registered members and their performance, urging them to offer superior services and promote preventive care within their communities.
