PMA closes to public during its 2023 alumni homecoming

Baguio City, Philippines – To give way for its alumni homecoming 2023, the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) will be closed to the public on February 18, announced the military school Thursday, January 26.

For said day, only PMA Alumni and homecoming guests will be allowed to enter the academy.

Last year, the event was conducted with limited face-to-face arrangements due to the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic. The four cavaliers were then conferred Lifetime Achievement Awards in recognition of their more than 50 years of dedicated service to the country while 14 were presented Cavalier Awards.

The event likewise recognizes diamond, golden, and silver jubilarians.

The new board of directors of PMA Alumni Association Incorporated (PMAAAI) along with the honorary and associate members are also expected to take oath during the homecoming.

Other parts of the event will be livestreamed via PMA’s official Facebook page.

PMA is known to locals and tourists for its main features such as the PMA Aeronautical vehicles; the PMA Museum housing PMA uniforms, chevrons; the Korean War Memorial Site which features tanks and weaponry; and the dioramas depicting significant historical events.
