PNP Balbalan receives brand new patrol car

Balbalan, Kalinga – A brand new patrol car - a Toyota 4 x 4 Police Patrol Car with accessories and amenities - was turned over to the Municipal Police Station of Balbalan on December 1, 2022, by the National Headquarters of the Philippine National Police.


Balbalan Mayor Almar Malannag said the vehicle shall be a great help in improving police response and field operation in the municipality.


Additionally, the mayor said the brand-new unit will allow the Balbalan police to reach more people in times of need.

“Kasapulan talaga ti lugan nga patrol car nga mausar, ta nu adda ti maaramid nga sitwasyon kasla dagitoy gingined wenno mangted ti ayuda, sample daytoy napuuran nga kailyan ket kailangan ti nayun iti patrol car gapo met lang ti kinaadayo dagiti babarangays ditoy Balbalan” he added.


Meantime, Malannag expressed his gratitude to PNP Chief General Rodolfo Azurin Jr. for granting their request.


“Agpaspasalamat iti Municipal ti Balbalan, karkaro ti Kapulisan mi ditoy ta han nga sinsinan daytoy inted na, complete ken well-equip nga talaga,” the mayor expressed.


How the brand-new patrol car was acquired?


Malannag narrated that municipal Mayors of Kalinga province jointly made a request to the national police headquarters for a police mobile to which they responded positively.
