2 brothers charged for stealing 14M gold & killing 5, arrested 9 years later


Benguet, Philippines – Two men from Mankayan, Benguet who had been hiding from the authorities for nearly a decade are finally facing the criminal charges filed against them.


This is after they were arrested by the police in Davao de Oro on April 14, according to a report by the Philippine National Police Cordillera.

Suspects Danny Domyong Nabulay, 43, and Rimando Domyong Nabulay, 46, were found by the operatives in Compostela Valley, Davao de Oro where they had been staying for the past years.


The Regional Trial Court Branch 64 in Buguias, Benguet ordered their arrest on December 3, 2014, for robbery with homicide.


As stated by the PNP Cordillera, the suspects were among the six people charged after allegedly killing five people and taking away around P14 million worth of gold bars at the Lepanto Consolidated Mining compound in 2003.


One of the suspects, Danny was tagged as Most Wanted Person at the national level with a P250,000.00 reward.
