Private establishments in Kalinga told to submit report on 13th month pay compliance

Tabuk City, Kalinga – The Department of Labor and Employment – Kalinga called for private establishment owners in the province to submit a report on their compliance with the 13th-month pay law, on or before January 15 this year.


The reminder was made by DOLE-Kalinga through a Facebook post on Monday, January 9.

Workers should have received their 13th-month pay on or before December 24 which is equivalent to 1/12 of the actual total basic pay of the employee for 2022.


According to the department, all rank-and-file employees are entitled of receiving the 13th-month pay, provided that they have worked for at least a month during the calendar year.


In the report to be submitted, DOLE-Kalinga said it should include the total number of employees, principal product or business, the total amount of benefits given, the amount received by each employee, the name and address of the establishment, the total number of workers who received the pay and the name, position, and telephone number of the person providing the information.


The compliance report shall be submitted through the department's Establishment Report system at https://reports.dole.gov.ph/ .


“Failure to comply with the foregoing shall be treated as non-compliance which shall give rise to administrative and criminal action against the establishment,” said DOLE Provincial Head Avelina Manganip.
