Igorot hottie wins Mister Model Search International 2023

Benguet, Philippines – A proud Igorot was successful in his campaign to claim the title of Mister Model Search International 2023 held on January 7, 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Philippine bet Kenneth Jhayve Bautista from Itogon, Benguet beat other international candidates from Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, India, Ukraine, and Russia to win the modeling contest.

Bautista likewise took home Best in National Costume and Best in Swimwear.

Further, the management of the search recognized the Igorot’s efforts in promoting the tourism industry of the country.

Bautista has been actively promoting the cultural dances and traditions of the Cordillera, says Governor Melchor Diclas in a press release.

Diclas cited Bautista as the founder and president of Binnadang Cultural Dance Troupe, a group comprising of Igorot youth who promote their respective cultural identity.

The governor appreciated the reigning Mister Model Search International ‘for his advocacies and endeavors that continue to inspire his fellow Cordilleran youth.’

On July 16 last year, the young model clinched the Mr. World Universe International 2022 title also in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
