Psychology graduate from Kiangan, Ifugao bags awards at 3rd International Authors' Summit


Kiangan, Ifugao – Gracelyn Joy C. Taguiling, a 22-year-old native of Kiangan, Ifugao, made waves at the 3rd International Authors' Summit with her book, “My Anxious Mind: Anxiety Free-living - Your Roadmap to Natural Belief.”

 

Representing the province of Ifugao, Taguiling, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology graduate from Ifugao State University, captivated audiences and judges alike with her unique approach to addressing anxiety.

 

The book, she described, serves as a comprehensive guide for individuals grappling with anxiety, offering an alternative perspective on anxiety treatment that extends beyond medication.

 

Taguiling's aim is to empower readers, providing practical strategies to manage anxiety while raising awareness about the potential side effects and limitations of traditional anxiety medication.
