Top 4 Most wanted sex offender in Region CAR nabbed in Pinukpuk


Pinukpuk, Kalinga – A 38-year-old farmer in Taga, Pinukpuk wanted for a rape case was arrested Tuesday, August 30, by joint law enforcement operatives in Kalinga, according to Pinukpuk police.


The suspect whose name was withheld by police was listed as the fourth most wanted person in the Cordillera region.


He was arrested at 8:30 AM in his residence at Sitio Sagsag, Taga by Kalinga operatives led by personnel of Pinukpuk Municipal Police Station.

The suspect was nabbed after being served a warrant of arrest for the crime of rape without bail by Hon. Jerson E. Angog, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court, 2nd Judicial Region, Branch 25, on November 11, 2021.


As disclosed by police, the man allegedly sexually assaulted a minor in May 2021 in his own house.


The suspect was first brought to Pinukpuk MPS for documentation prior to his commitment to the issuing court.


Last month, Kalinga police have also arrested a 61-year-old construction worker from Gawaan, Balbalan after the same complaint was lodged for allegedly raping a minor in April 2022.
