Miss Baguio to represent Philippines in 2024 Miss Charm International

Baguio City, Philippines – After getting crowned 2023 Miss Charm Philippines in the Miss Universe 2023 coronation show on May 13, the reigning Miss Baguio is set to represent the country in the 2024 Miss Charm pageant in Vietnam later this year.

During the recently concluded pageant, the 22-year-old Krishnah Marie E. Gravidez was also named Tingog ng Filipina – Luzon and Best in Swimsuit. Likewise, she made it to the Top 5 Titan Universe and Magic 8 Aqua Boracay Angels.

“Joining this tough competition, being surrounded by some of the most empowered women in the country, and working day-to-day with an organization that aims to empower us more is what made this journey meaningful,” she captioned in her post after the pageant.

Krishnah is part of the Colors of Kindness, a charity organization aiming to inspire, empower and uplift the youth. She is a firm advocate for the welfare of children and youth.

The beauty queen's answer in the national pageant seems to give a hint as to the reason for fighting for her advocacy.

In the final question and answer segment, finalists were asked: "Recently, the Department of Tourism has adopted a new branding campaign, '"We give the world our best.' For you, what is the best that we could offer to the rest of the world? Why do you consider it so?"

Krishnah, during her turn, answered: "Having to struggle at a very early age, I had uncertainties but I receive kindness a lot of times. So now, aside from it's free, I give kindness to everyone. Because this kindness can go a long way, can motivate someone, or can give radiance to their days. Because this kindness also made me transform myself from a woman who had nothing, to a lady that has the universe in her doorstep."

She is now further preparing for the Miss Charm International where she can amplify the voice of the youth.
