Rotting cadaver of 29-yr.-old man found at vacant lot in Tuao

Tuao, Cagayan – Police are still looking for answers on the mysterious death of a 29-year-old man whose cadaver was found Friday, July 21, at a vacant lot in Mambacag, Tuao.


When discovered, the dead body of Jerry Agmilao, a resident of Palca in said town, was already in a state of decomposition.

The family of the victim said that Agmilao was last seen alive at 9 p.m. on July 16 and was then heading to the fun fair in New Market, Palca.


Since that day, Agmilao did not return home, prompting his family member to seek help through social media to know his whereabouts until he was found Friday afternoon but was already a rotting cadaver.


"Naudi isuna a nakita idi rabii iti oras nga 9 PM iti rabii July 16, 2023 agturung mapan peryaan idiay New Market Palca, Tuao, nakasuut iti badu nga kulay (yellow) ken naka pantalon iti (red or black)," part of the family member’s Facebook post reads.

Agmilao’s family, friends, and relatives are now crying for justice for the young man’s untimely death, whose remains were buried Saturday, July 22.


“We are hoping na mabigyan ng justice ang pagkamatay mo insan Jerry Agmilao. Rest in peace,” a cousin’s social media post stated.
