Santa Marcela’s sports clinic 2024 opens July 10, walk-in registration still ongoing

Santa Marcela, Apayao – Aiming to promote physical and mental wellness among young people, this year’s “Sports clinic” of the local government unit of Santa Marcela, Apayao opens on July 10.

With the theme “Exercising Body and Mind”, the activity is not only to teach kids the fundamentals of various sports disciplines but at the same time, to keep them away from vices.

Among the sports lined up for the said event are Taekwondo, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Arnis, and Chess.

How to Join?

Young people ages 8-15 who want to join the said sports must register first by proceeding to the Office of the Municipal Mayor, bringing with them their birth certificates. Parents are advised to accompany their children during registration.

The Municipal Information Office announced on Wednesday, July 3 that the free registration will end on July 9. Only walk-in registration is allowed, they highlighted.
