Aguinaldo, Ifugao – Following the Undergraduate Science and Technology Scholarship caravan held in Kalinga last week, the same promotional activity dubbed as ‘Namnama Para Kadagiti Adda Arapaap Na’ was launched Tuesday, November 15, in Ifugao.

Three secondary schools - Aguinaldo National High School, Ubao National High School, and Rufino L. Chungalao National High School will be visited first.

Assisting the scholarship unit of the Department of Science and Technology – Cordillera in the activity are the personnel of the Provincial Science and Technology Office of Ifugao.

In a report, DOST-CAR said the team conducted the caravan on Wednesday, November 16, in the municipalities of Hungduan and Mayoyao.

The caravan in Ifugao will last for a week - from November 15 to 18, 2022.

The activity is a strategy by the agency that aims to promote Science and Technology education opportunities to deserving students and to further disseminate the scholarship offer in far-flung communities.

“The in-person activity also served as a venue for interested and ongoing applicants to raise their questions on the application process and overall provisions of said scholarship,” DOST- CAR said.

Qualified applicants for the scholarship are students who are taking the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics strand and students who are non-STEM but belong to the upper top 5% of the graduating class.
