Senator Robin Padilla expresses gratitude to Cordillerans during 35th Cordillera Anniversary kick-of

Sagada, Mt. Province – Joining the people of Cordillera in the kick-off celebration of the region’s 35th Founding Anniversary this July 01, 2022, Senator-elect Robin Padilla took the opportunity to express gratitude to the community for showing support during the May 09, 2022 elections.

Padilla garnered 78,263 votes from the Cordillerans.

In his virtual message aired through the Philippine Information Agency – Cordillera, Padilla offered his apology for not being able to physically attend the event due to equally important matters.

Nevertheless, Padilla made sure to prepare a message for said event, promising to be with the people in CAR when schedule permits.

“Tunay na nanabik na kayo ay makapiling. Ikinalulungkot ko po na ipaabot na hindi po ako makakadalo sapagkat bilang inyong bagong halal na mambabatas sinisiguro po natin ang pagtutok sa mga panukalang ating isusumite sa senado kaya patawarin nyo po ako,” said the senator.

“Pangako ko po sa inyo na bibisitahin ko kaya sa lalong madaling panahon na mas maging maluwag po ang aking skedyul,” Padilla further promised.
