Updated: Sep 29

Baguio City, Philippines – The seventh top spot in the September 2024 Social Worker Licensure Examination (SWLE) was snatched by a graduate of Saint Louis University in Baguio City.

Fresh graduate Auvy Thez Domitas was one of the 7,113 aspiring social workers who took the board exam on September 16 – 18 at different testing centers in the Philippines.

On September 23, the Professional Regulation Commission announced that Domitaz is among the 4,587 or 64.49% who passed the exam. Her success did not just end there as her name was also included in the list of top 10 performing examinees.

Having earned a rating of 85.80%, Domitaz who graduated Cum Laude secured the top 7 spot.

The newly-passed social worker thanked the people behind her success, particularly her family and loved ones who have been there for her when she was gearing up to become a registered social worker.

“Apat na taon sa kolehiyo, mahigit dalawang buwan ng paghahanda at puyat, tatlong araw ng pagsusulit, at limang araw ng paghihintay, AUVY IS FINALLY AN RSW,” she wrote on Facebook.

Her alma mater, SLU along with the Baguio City government commended her for her excellence in topping this major examination in her field.
