SLU among top universities in ASIA

Baguio City, Philippines - Saint Louis University (SLU) is among the top universities in Asia through 2023 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings.


In the ranking, SLU is ranked 103 in South-Eastern Asia and number 651-700 in the top 1,500 universities across Asia.


Quacquarelli Symonds is the world’s leading provider of services, analytics, and insight into the global higher education sector. Its mission is to empower and motivated people anywhere in the world to fulfill their potential through educational achievement, international mobility, and career development.


The QS used QS Methodology performance metrics to rank different universities around Asia.

Universities are rated on various factors, including research, teaching, internationalization, academic development, online learning, innovation, arts and culture, facilities, graduate employability, social responsibility, inclusiveness, environmental impact, and specialist criteria.


In the rating, SLU excelled in research publications, faculty and student data, program sustainability, employment statistics, internationalization, and environmental, social, and governance sustainability, which they garnered Three-Star of Excellency.


Reverend Father Gilbert Sales, CICM, President of Saint Louis University, conveyed that through the university’s international recognition, it served them as a guide to exert more effort for the institutional development for its stakeholders and students.
