As one of eight global institutions on this exclusive shortlist, SLU's recognition underscores its resolute dedication to groundbreaking research and academic eminence.

THE Awards Asia, known as the "Oscars of Higher Education," provide a distinguished platform recognizing outstanding leadership and institutional performance, celebrating excellence across the continent's academic landscape. With 600 entries spanning 17 countries and territories, the awards spotlight diverse and innovative contributions from institutions shaping the future of education.

Within the "Research Project of the Year: Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences" category, THE Awards aim to commend individuals or teams at higher education institutions engaged in innovative research with a profound and far-reaching impact.

SLU finds itself in esteemed company, sharing the shortlist with renowned institutions such as Chulalongkorn University (Thailand), Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Hong Kong), Lovely Professional University (India), Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) (Malaysia), Our Lady of Fatima University (Philippines), Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (Sri Lanka), and Suranaree University of Technology (Thailand).
