SLU once again dominated MedTech Board examination

Baguio, Philippines – The Saint Louis University has once again dominated the Medical Technologists Licensure Examination (MTLE) this year, reclaiming the top spot in the recently-conducted board exam.

For the August 2024 MTLE, SLU sent 87 graduates to take the board examination on August 6 – 7. Almost a week later, the Professional Regulation Commission announced that 83 of the 87 successfully earned their license.

This gave SLU a 95.40% passing rate, making them the top 1 performing school once again.

It could be recalled that SLU was also named the top performing institution in the August 2023 MTLE after all of its 152 examinees passed the board exam.

The City Local Government Unit of Baguio lauded SLU for their outstanding performance and congratulated the new medical technologists.

“The City of Baguio commends Saint Louis University for being the top performing school in the August 2024 Medical Technologists Licensure Examination with a 95.40% passing rate. Congratulations also to all the new Registered Medical Technologists!” the City LGU wrote.
