SLU produces 3 topnotchers in March 2023 MedTech board exam

Baguio City, Philippines – Saint Louis University, the Top 2 performing school in the March 2023 Medical Technologist Licensure Examinations produced at least three topnotchers.

Out of the 272 takers from the university, only one examinee did not make it to the list of passers. SLU which topped the schools in January and March 2021, and January 2022 MTLEs recorded 99.63 percent rating in the latest board exam.

SLU alumnus Steven Joseph Gambito ranked 5th among the 4,714 out of 6,165 (76.46%) passers, while John Russell Perez and Michelle Ven Meria were 9th and 10th placers, respectively.

Gambito, who graduated as a Cum Laude at said university in January 2023, attributed his success to the months of hard work, especially during his review in preparation of the examination.

Meanwhile, University of Baguio, the lone top performing school in the March 2022 board exam landed 8th with 70 passers out of 74 takers. It garnered an overall rating of 94.59 percent.

With 100 percent rating, Velez College and Cebu Doctors Hospital are both ranked as Number 1 among all the schools nationwide.
