SSS desk available in Tinglayan every last Wednesday of the month

Tinglayan, Kalinga - Tinglayanos will no longer need to travel outside the municipality to avail of the services provided by the Social Security System.

This was made possible by the state-run social insurance agency through establishing a monthly desk office in the municipality.

Accordingly, the SSS desk will serve yTinglayans every last Wednesday of each month. The desk will be managed by Security System Officer Pepito Simbra Jr. from Tabuk Services Offices.

Services to be offered include SSS registration, SSS account resetting, disbursement account enrollment, password resetting, pension loan applications, salary loan applications, benefits claims applications, member data changes, and general inquiries.

The SSS desk is located on the second floor of the municipal building in Tinglayan.

Municipal Mayor Sacrament Gumilab, in a statement, urged his constituents to grab the opportunity and avail of the services of the said institution.

He likewise conveyed his gratitude to the agency for bringing their services closer to Tinglayanos.

What is SSS?

SSS is a social insurance program in the country that benefits the private, professional, and informal sectors.

"Coverage under the SSS is for all employers in the private sector and their employees who are not over 60 years of age, whether with permanent or provisional employment status, including domestic helpers," the agency stated on its website.
