Benjamin recounted that he was inspired by a Facebook post where he learned about these opportunities to study outside the country.

Applying in the said universities was like a roller coaster ride, Benjamin expressed as the process is both stressful yet fun.

Now that he got these opportunities in his hands, hitting two birds with one stone, is Benjamin’s way of describing them. He explained that this is fulfilling his dream as well as his parents’ who once dreamed to experience to study abroad but were unable to do so.

Choosing among the universities

“The decisions you have made up to this point have led you to this moment and it’s no small triumph. Among the thousands of applications we have received and reviewed, you stood out,” the university wrote.

Apart from the cost of his tuition, the Xavier University will cover cost of his required textbooks for 4 years regardless of price.

Benjamin said that choosing Xavier University among the other 6 schools is his personal choice and he is overjoyed about the offer of the university, “the fact na nakuha ko po at nakamit ko yung pinakamataas na scholarship dun po sa pinaka-top choice na school ay sobrang saya po,”
