Supreme Court recognizes top performing Cordilleran universities and college

Baguio City, Philippines – Following the release of the first digitalized and regionalized Bar examination this April 12, 2022, the Supreme Court gave recognition to two universities and one college in Cordillera for excelling the 2020-2021 examination.


Of the 8,241 passers, Stephanie Mae B. Domingo from the University of Cordilleras made it to the Excellent list or those who attained more than 90 percent rate.

Saint Louis University also earned recognition for topping Performing Law School under Category 2 (51-100 Bar takers). The school achieved 98.667 percent passing rate among its first Bar takers.


SLU proudly announced that nine of their graduates were recognized for their exemplary performance, having an average of 85 to 90 percent. Recognized were Eric Karl Nicholas M. Aguilar, Michael Vincent A. Bautista, Elijah Roland A. Cosalan, Johanne Margarette R. Macob, Joanne Vhale C. Milan, Charlene Joy W. Millares, Deborah Micah O. Perez, Joan D. Tamayo, and Victoriano R. Torio Ill.

Meanwhile, all first-time takers of Abra Valley Colleges passed, therefore receiving a recognition as Top Performing Law School under the Group 4 with 10 or fewer Bar candidates.


Bar Chairperson Associate Justice Marvic Leonen announced that the oath-taking of the recent passers will be held on May 2 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
