Tabuk City Councilor Suma-al thanks supporters, promises to uphold honesty in governance

Tabuk City, Kalinga - During his thanksgiving celebration held this July 2, 2022 in Dupag, reelected Councilor Samuel Suma-al expressed gratitude to Tabukeños for their support in the May 09, 2022 elections that led to his victory.

Suma-al ranked third in the roster of 10 councilors elected in the city.

Suma-al stressed that he wouldn’t have won without his supporters, thus the event and the invitation he extended for his thanksgiving.

“Agyamanak launay kadagita nga suporta ken dagita nga ayat ken talek ket isublik met laeng nga napudno nga panagserbik kadakayu ken ti ili tayu nga Tabuk,” he said.

Suma-al also took the time to laud the efforts of those who worked on his behalf,

representing him on occasions and activities resulting in the recognition of his name as councilor.

Suma-al called for the citizens to unify and continue to support him and all public officials serving the city.

The re-election of Suma-al gives him another three years as councilor, committing to strengthen support for employment and livelihood, public health and health care system, youth, education, culture, tourism, and environment.

Additionally, the councilor promised to uphold honesty in governance.

Known as an environmental advocate, the councilor authored City Ordinance No. 03, series of 2021 or the Plastic Bag Ban which the city started implementing on Friday, July 1, 2022.
