Tabuk City police on manhunt operation to capture suspects who killed 23-yr.-old farmer in Dilag

Tabuk City, Kalinga - A family in Tabuk City is crying for justice after their loved one was shot on Friday morning, October 04, 2024 in Basao, Dilag.

Initial investigation of the police revealed that around 11:00 a.m., the victim identified to be Vicente Pallat Calsiyao, 23 was fetched by his cousin for them to visit his farm in Purok Talna, Dilag.

When the two reached the intersection going to the Land Field Sanitary, they noticed a blue Sedan car parked at the opposite road. Right there, a man allegedly alighted from the vehicle and shot the victim several times with his long firearm.

The gunman boarded the car and left the lifeless body of the 23-year-old.

Authorities from the Tabuk City Police Station immediately implemented hot pursuit operation for the capture of the suspects and established checkpoints for the arrest of the gunman and accomplice. It is believed that there were two men in the getaway vehicle.

Investigation of the case is still ongoing.
