Tabuk City records 2 Covid-19 related death today

Tabuk City, Kalinga – The city has recorded 2 confirmed Covid-19 related death this September 3, this was announced during the Magandang Tanghali Mayor program at Radyo Natin FM Tabuk.


These two mortalities were said to be men, but it wasn’t disclosed which barangay they came from neither other health-related details or non-confidential information.


As of 12:00 noon of September 3, there is a total of 473 Covid-19 active cases in Tabuk City. The top 5 barangays said to have the most active cases include Bulanao Centro with 91; Lacnog East, 63; Bulanao Norte, 46; Dagupan West, 26; and Dagupan Centro and Agbannawag with 28 active cases.

In connection with the surge of cases, Barangay Lacnog East has been placed under lockdown for 14 days since September 2, 2021.


Meantime, Barangays Bulanao Centro, Bulanao Norte, Dagupan Centro, Dagupan West and Agbannawag have been put under a granular lockdown starting 12:00AM of September 4, 2021 to 12 midnight of September 16, 2021.

The surge of cases likewise affected the City Health Office after all staff have been exposed to a positive patient. Due to this, the scheduled second dose of Sinovac this September 3 was moved to September 6.


According to the City Health Office – Tabuk, this will give them time for contact tracing, swabbing, and disinfection.
