Tabuk CLGU donates 1,000 sq. of the P46M Laya lot to provide area for a PNP building



Tabuk City, Kalinga – Tabuk City LGU has donated part of the controversial 1.8 hectares Laya lot bought for P46 million in 2019 to the Philippine National Police for PNP-Tabuk to have an area where they can construct their building.


PNP-Tabuk's office is currently situated within the compound of Tabuk City LGU.


According to Resolution No. 120-A Series of 2021 adopted by Tabuk City council on July 01, 2021, 1000 square meters of the said lot will be donated.

“WHEREAS, the City Government of Tabuk is the registered owner of the real estate property more or less specifically described as follows: Lot No. 1002-B, (LRB) PSD-126393, a parcel of land (Lot No. 1002-B, of the Subdivision Plan (LRC) PSD-126393, being a portion of Lot 1002, Pls-93, (H-246632) LRC Record No. H. PAT, situated in Laya, Tabuk City, Kalinga covered by described in TCT No. 020-2021000792, containing an area of Six Thousand One Hundred Two (6,120) Square Meters, more or less;" the resolution stated.


It can be recalled that the City Government of Tabuk bought three lots of 6,102 square meters each for P15,590,610.00 or a total of 1.8 hectares for an amount of over 46 million pesos in 2019.
