Tabuk couple arrested for possessing P104K shabu

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Live-in partners and drug personalities in Barangay Lanna, Tabuk City were arrested early morning of April 22, 2022 after authorities recovered suspected shabu inside their residence.

Around 4:00 AM today, the police proceeded to Purok 2 in Barangay Lanna to implement a Search Warrant at the residence of a certain Ariston Eric Delgado, 44, and Janet Agurin, 48.

Delgado is included in the list of Regional Top Ten Drug Personality.

According to the police, he was convicted of murder and is on parole. Agurin, on the other hand, was listed as a Street-Level Drug Personality by the Tabuk City Police Station.

With the warrant, the authorities searched the house where they recovered 2 medium heat-sealed sachets containing a substance believed to be shabu. The sachets were estimated to have a total value of P102,000.

Another 3 small sachets containing the same substance worth P2,040 were also discovered at the place.

Apart from the suspected illegal contrabands, the police found drug paraphernalia, cal. 32 pistol with 7 live ammunition, cal. 45 handgun loaded with 6 live ammo, 3 android phones, and one tablet during the operation.

The two were brought to Tabuk City Police Station after on-site inventory with the presence of witnesses from the media, Department of Justice, and the barangay.
