Tabuk City, Kalinga – Two metal short replica of firearms, 2 improvised tooters with residue and more or less .05 grams of suspected dried marijuana leaves and seeds were confiscated from minors involved in a brawling incident on Thursday, September 22.

The brawling incident happened in front of Tabuk City National High School, Dagupan Centro, Tabuk City, according to Tabuk City police.

Personnel of Tabuk City Police Station on said date were conducting mobile patrol when they were notified about a fistfight of some out-of-school youth and students.

To sort out the commotion, they immediately proceeded to the area. When they arrived, the group ran away in different directions, thus only two individuals were caught.

The arrested minors who are both 16 years old, along with the pieces of evidence gathered, were brought to Tabuk CPS for proper documentation and filing of appropriate charges.

In a text message from the police on September 24, they relayed the minors were already turned over to the City Social Welfare and Development.

In a statement, Tabuk police vowed to continuously ‘intensify mobile police visibility to reduce the opportunity of lawless elements in committing criminal activity and reinvigorate the anti-criminality campaign of the PNP which is aligned with the peace and security framework MKK=K (Malasakit, Kaayusan, Kapayapaan tungo sa Kaunlaran).’
