Taer Ken Libnos ti Santa Marcela 2024 crowned!


Santa Marcela,Apayao- In every competition, there are triumphs and defeats. In Taer Ken Libnos ti Santa Marcela 2024, the search is over and the winners have been crowned.


The prestigious Search for Taer Ken Libnos ti Santa Marcela is the highlight activity of the 57th Founding Anniversary and 10th Balangkoy Festival of Santa Marcela town, featuring its theme "Pursuits towards Local prosperity-- a collective responsibility."


All 13 barangays of the town sent their representatives to the pageant.


The winners shall represent the municipality for the provincial search in February next year. After the Pre-pageant and towards the Coronation Night, judges deliberated and chose one from 13 candidates of Mr. Taer, and another from 13 candidates of Ms. Libnos.


During the Coronation Night held at the EKB gymnasium, in LGU Santa Marcela compound on June 17, Ms. Jeshanee Kate Padilla emerged as the town’s queen after triumphantly demonstrating her wit, grace and elegance all throughout the pageant segments.


Padilla's brilliant performance on stage was adorned with numerous accolades including, most Articulate, best in Ethnic attire, best in Creative Attire and best in Festival Attire. Her advocacy on Sustainable development on culture, tradition and Tourism of Santa Marcela has captivated and impressed the hearts of both the judges and audience.


Meantime, Mr. Anthony Vellejo was crowned as the TAER ti Santa Marcela 2024. His achievement was further accentuated with the Best in production number, Most Charming Taer, Mr. Close-up smile, King of the ramp, Best in Formal Attire, and Best in Casual wear.


Runner-ups of the pageant


As for the runners up of the Taer ken Libnos ti Santa Marcela 2024, Ms. Imiliana secured the first runner-up and Best in Casual wear. Ms. Emelda clinched the second runner-up and awarded Darling of the crowd and Queen of the Ramp.


For the Taer category, Mr. San Carlos bagged the first runner-up, while Mr. San Juan settled for the second runner-up and was bestowed with Best in Talent and Mr. Congeniality.
