Tabuk City, Kalinga – The Chief Executive Officer of Tabuk Multipurpose Cooperative (TAMPCO), Rev. Claudio Bagano in a keynote message, highlighted the significant role of cooperatives in the community, especially for the farmers.

During the grand opening of the P6 million worth gas station of Cabaruan Multipurpose Cooperative (CMPC) on November 15, Bagano underscored that cooperative should look into serving its members, such as the offer of fair prices of fuel, saying that prices should be controlled for the benefit of member-consumers.

“I-kontrol tayo ti presyo tapnu saan a marigatan dagiti consumers, dagiti mannalon. Nagngatu lang garuden ti abono kada farm inputs, nangina pay ti krudo, anya ngay ti mabati para ken farmer piman. We are in the farming community therefore, ti target tayo a serbisyo-an ket farmers,” underscored the CEO of the billionaire cooperative.

He appealed to the manager-in-charge to be contented in a small profit and not take advantage of the cooperative’s services.

“Daytoy coop gas station a kuna tayo a serbisyo, saan a pagganansiya-an ta coop ti akin-kukwa. Normal nga adda ti ganansiya because it is also a business ngem kunatayo tayo ngarud a kapkapnekan ti miyembro ken para iti ira-rang ay ti miyembro,” Bagano added.

The CEO assured that TAMPCO is one with the cooperatives in supporting low prices, but quality services.

In order to attain the goal, he reminded the practice of the three Rs: to be resilient, to be responsible, and to revitalize.

“Ikkan yu ti bagi yu ti time to revitalize spiritually, socially and even economically. Ikkan yu ti tiyempo ti tattao yu a mapan ag-retreat tapnu panunuten da nu diay panagsisinnungbat da ti meeting ket naka-align idiay vision,” Bagano concluded.
