Awingan said that Mayor Dagadag would usually initiate the clearing of the roads, especially this rainy season for the safety of motorists and travelers.

The facilities, including crude oil and labor utilized for the clearing of the road, are the personal resources of the mayor, he added.

Meantime, the road is being utilized mostly by the constituents in Poblacion, Centro, Lower, and Anggacan, Mangali.

The Banagao to Kawi Road was opened in January 2021 with a P5 million funding from the Department of Public Works and Highways and through the help of Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang.
