The construction of the bridge is part of the PhP100 million fund from the General Appropriation Act (GAA) 2020 for the 2.2-kilometer road improvement of the supposed development of National Road from Lubo, Tanudan going to Barlig, Mountain Province and Banaue, Ifugao.

Cosidon said the Congressman initiated to work out for the allocation of the fund from the General Appropriation Act (GAA) for 2020.

It is expected that the bridge be completed this year.

Additionally, it provides an alternate route from Tabuk City to Banaue, Ifugao.

With the completion of the project, it is said that transport shall be safer and faster for products ferried to the market and for tourists to access attractions and sites of interest in the municipality.
