Tanudan delegation radiates in complete blue uniform during Kalinga prov’l sports fest

Tanudan, Kalinga – Making sure that their student-athletes are well-equipped, the Tanudan Local Government Unit outdid itself in this year’s provincial sports festival.

One proof is the delegates’ complete uniform during the opening program of the 2023 Kalinga Provincial Athletic Meet in Rizal on April 14. The players and coaches radiate in their blue jackets, shirt, pants, and blue cap.

Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag who attended the event with the Sangguniang Bayan members headed by Vice Mayor Constancio Dalayap noted that while Tanudan has limited funding, the LGU made sure that the Tanudan delegation has at least comfortable attire and good food in the competition.

“Dapat lang met nga ikkan ta dagitoy u-ubbing iti mayat nga uniporme ken makan da. Nu ibagbagam nga awan pondo ket adda dayta, mayor ka, ammum iti agiremedyo iti kasta,” he said.

Dagadag also pledged they will try to complete the uniform of the athletes and provide their shoes next provincial meet.

Meantime, the mayor motivated them to give their best in their respective games but also advised them not to forget to enjoy as they compete with players from other municipalities in Kalinga.

“Kadagitoy athletes tayo tatta, kadagitoy ubbing tayo, ipapati yu nga makiay-ayam ta daytoy a tiyempo iti pagpilian iti probinsiya tayo iti mailaban iti CARAA. Haan lang nga diay ay-ayam iti pangipapatian tayo, nu di ket pati kuma iti panaguskwela tayo,” he conveyed.

After the program, Dagadag proceeded to the quarters of the Tanudan delegation to monitor the athletes and to ensure that everything is going well.

The 2023 Kalinga Provincial Meet will end on April 16.
