Tanudan LGU renews partnership with OWWA - CAR

Tanudan, Kalinga – The Officialdom of Tanudan headed by Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag strengthened its partnership with Overseas Workers Welfare Administration’s (OWWA) - Cordillera.


Dagadag together with Governor James Edduba and other local chief executives in the province signed a Memorandum of Agreement with OWWA – Cordillera Regional Director Luzviminda Tumaliuan on July 21 at the Provincial Capitol.


The MOA covers and ensures the effective implementation and delivery of services and programs to Overseas Filipino Workers and their families.

Dagadag stressed that the programs of OWWA are truly beneficial to Filipinos and yKalingas who had to work abroad to support their loved ones.


“Ti LGU Tanudan ket sumuporta ti renewal ti MOA iti OWWA ta napintas diay programa da para kadagiay kakailyan nga agtrabaho abroad,” he said, citing the protection the agency gives to OFWs; projects they provide to organizations formed by former workers abroad; and the livelihood and scholarship programs being implemented by OWWA.


“Isu dagita ti rasun met nga suportado ti ama ti Tanudan dita ta kayat tayo met nga maka-avail ti kakailiyan nga taga Tanudan kadagita napipintas nga programa ti OWWA,” he added.
